gforge-web-apache software package provides transition package to gforge-web-apache2, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gforge-web-apache
gforge-web-apache is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gforge-web-apache package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gforge-web-apache *
You will get with gforge-web-apache package name, version, architecture and description in a table
